Default Braille Lithium GU1 R Battery Review.

Hello guys,

I have never been compelled to do a review on many items before but after a lot of research and being probably one of the first to try this battery out I guess I should give it some feed back.

**I wanted something that was affordable , lithium and as LIGHT as possible*** I couldnt spend 1k-3k on the other lithium batteries so I took a chance on this one, which I could afford.

This is the battery from Braille Green Lite line up. You can either get the battery by itself or get the package that contains the charger.

https://www.braillebattery.com/index...ies/gu1r_combo

I got it through Summit racing which had it for a lower price than the rest of the websites, I didnt have to pay taxes and had free shipping. Braille is located in Fl so I would have had to pay taxes had I purchased it from them directly, and other websites charge you a shipping fee. It was in back order so I did wait about 2 months or so.

The Specs are as fallow:

BCI Group U1R
Weight 6.4 lbs. (2.9 kg)
Length 7.68" (195 mm)
Width 5.13" (140 mm)
Height 7.13" (182 mm)
Polarity Right Positive
Performance
Voltage 12
PCA 947
LAH39
Ah13

As you can see the this thing is LIGHT!!!!!

Only 6.4 lbs!!!! I wanted something light that had enough PCA to turn my engine (11.2 scr) . After I relocated the battery to the rear of the car (was a red optima battery). The car used to start but you could feel the sluggish turns of the engine.

Now Ive had the Braille Battery sitting in my apt for a good 4 months since I got it. My car is down cuz of some broken axles , so I had no incentive on even putting this battery in yet. However I had to move the car and the Optima was completely drained. So I just decided to try it out.
Now 4 months of the battery sitting since I got it and only 1 charge that first day I got it.

I connected the charger and in less than 10 minutes it was ready!!

Once the Braille was in the car I wanted to turn the engine a few times, so it would lubricate before it fired up.

On the first try!!!! WOW this thing felt like on steroids!!!! What a difference!!!

Cranked the car for 4 times for 3-4 seconds each time and the battery just kept going as strong every time.

The car kept shutting off after I fired it up and I proceed to start the car 4 more times with less than 10 seconds of the engine running!!!

Needless to say VERY IMPRESSED by this little thing!!! Would recommended to anyone

Check out how light this thing is!!
