Default New drag racing block almost done!

I think I posted the other pictures in the LS3 section last time. These are new blocks from solid billet we have been working on. I believe the weight of the block is 70 pounds. No water passages or mounting for accessories. All that is left is lifter bushings, cylinder sleeves, main caps, and finish boring. This is the standard deck. A tall deck is soon to follow!

Got any info about them?

Oiling system changes?

what size head bolts are the holes machined for?

Sleeve length?

Main journal size?

who is "we"

Nice looking piece you have there. But with the ls next going back to the older style caps and bottom end style due to the better windage benefits that it has... why not do something to work on this issue in the bottom if you're going to go to the trouble of making a billet block?

Also, are you extending the sleeves lower so that a 4 inch crank in your standard block will not have as many issues with skirt side loading as the factory style blocks have?

You are raising the cam I would hope... how much?

You have some interesting things there, but I question some of the things I don't see.
