Best lightweight seat for the money?
Im doing lightweight carpet, so I figured that I would throw in a lightweight seat as well to go with it. Im trying to lighten up the car as much as possible without taking the stock look away. I only have the funds for 1 right now, but the way I see it, Im only going to have one seat in at the track, so the only time that I will be needing a 2nd seat is when I plan to drive it on the street and have a passenger. In that case, Ill just use the stock passsenger seat. So when Im at the strip, lightweight driver's seat, no passenger seat. Anyhow, I dont want to spend a crazy amount of money on a seat, however, I dont want a cheap seat either. What do you guys and gals recommend? Thanks.

How come Kirkley seats are so much cheaper than most of the lightweight seats? Well honestly, the only other brand that I know of are the Cobreau. I dont wanna go cheap, but I also dont want to spend a ton of money on lightweight seats. Im not sure what kind of limit Im going to put on myself for a seat, but I want a quality, comfortable, and lightweight seat thats not going to break my wallet. Any other suggestions?

Coach, does that seat have adjustable recline? If not, what's the angle of recline on it? Also, did you install a back brace from the back of the seat to the bar behind?
BlackBeaSSt, I have a Corbeau Forza and I don't like it at all. It looks good but it sits too upright and I don't think it is made to accomodate a back brace, which is required under NHRA rules. My drag strip has asked me twice to get one. You may want to make sure the seat you get a) has an adjustable recline and b) is built to accomodate a back brace.

Does anyone have pics of their seats? I dont really wanna a seat that has multiple colors in it because I want it to look like it belongs in the car. I know the shape and whatnot doesnt exactly look factory, but if possible, Id like to get it in all black. Comfort and the angle of the seat seem to be an issue with lightweight seats...I dont want to run into that as well. I want the seat to either be reclineable or have a good angle on it, for it to be comfortable, look good, to be legal, and doesnt cost me that much money.
