Sounds great.
NFRA might still have an event this year, NFRA has been approached about coming back to BG for one day event like last year, will know by end of week where that will go but it will make it more affordable and less focused on car count and more focused on prizes.

Someone needs to set up an event during the summer. I don't know if I'll be able to make it during school. I'll try though!

I'm likely jumping the gun here...but could you provide a bit more info? Specifically, are you going to be running heads-up stuff, or indexed, or something along the lines of the old NMCA type of setup?
Also, once you're ready and if you're interested, drop me a note and I'll get an announcement up on the Corral's front page, along with the Forums.
Sounds like fun!

Cool Bob, thanks!
There will be a few different heads up classes and a bracket race as well. No plans for indexing right now.

Ok. Tks. Ummmm.....you're not going to make them 'LS1 or forget it in order to win' type of classes, are you? Most of us fairly-well informed Mustang drivers are quite aware of the n/a potential of the LS1 vs the SOHC or DOHC 4.6.

Since Bob brought it up, I wouldn't mind seeing a few index classes. Index classes are FUN, and it will take out a lot of the problems of "fairly" pairing cars up since the event is open to so many different types of vehicles. I'm just brainstorming here. I hope to make it out to the event.

Sounds like a great idea. What tracks are you looking at for next year? Anything up near me in Ohio? National Trails Raceway is here...

The rest will be left open till after the MMP event. One thing is for sure, we are going to schedule events close to were groups of our racers come from. If people in your area take the time to travel and make a effort to come to us where we are having a event. Then we will try and do the same with our scheduling. Did you ever get a logo? I have a friend who is a graphic artist and would very likely do the logo for you just so he could put it in his portfolio.

Sounds like fun.
It would be great to see 5 events a year.
AL, TX, CA, IL, NY
Kinda go all around the US so everyone has a chance at racing (if they dont want to drive TOOO FAR)

So you're worried w/ the sandbagging. I don't see anything wrong w/ it so long as they can do it consistently. If you run your race, then you won't have anything to worry about. That's what I always try to race by.
