Default Single wiper setup with Super Vic/4150 for 99 Bird

So, I've just got done putting my DD back together. Its a 5.7 LS1, 11.2:1 comp, Dart 225cc heads, 235/242* @.050, Super Victor with a 1" spacer and an accufab 4150 TB, T56, and 9" with 4.56s.

Anyway, I was planning on keeping the wipers and trimmed the Joe Van O hood accordingly. In order to clear the TB and carb hat I feed it with, I had to almost totally remove the passenger side wiper mount.

I bought this cheap 99 V6 car specifically to keep the wipers, otherwise I'd have just put all this in my 99 TA that has no cowl and full MWC suspension. Being an idiot, I didn't full explore how the wiper system functioned. I ASSuMEd that the motor drove the drive wiper and slaved the passenger. I was wrong.

I live in Washington state, where its literally rained 90% of the this year. So I NEED to try and retain the drivers side wiper. Anyone done this, or have any good suggestions?

I have no wiper input, but can attest to the rain we have had. I swear it's rained as much so far this year as all of last year!

Dude. It has. We've had something like 60% more rainfall this year than average. We also had something like 50% of our average annual rainfall in 3 months this year.
Goddammit.

You should be able to just keep the driver wiper and it should operate normal.. But that's an aggressive setup you have there.. What does it run or dyno?

Yeah, thats what I thought as well. Problem is the wiper motor drives the passenger side wiper with an arm, and then another arm back to the drivers side wiper. So when you remove the passenger side wiper, you've removed the pivot point that drives the driver side wiper.

One old LS1tech thread had a guy that shortened the shaft and attached it directly from the motor to the wiper, which I've tried to copy, but I cant get the length right, and I cant do the engineering to figure out how to alter the setup to make it work.

I need to see some pics of how the guy did it, and unfortunately he hasnt responded to my IM. I'm hoping someone else has done this.

As far as dyno #s or timeslips, not yet. Just got the car together. I have no estimates on what its capable of, but Id hope for deep 11s once its tuned, on 275 Nitto DRs.

I saved the drivers wiper but my Super Vic doesn't have a spacer.
