You can see the plug in the pic below. It is next to the upper outlet port.
It is an o ring plug. It is not 1" npt. It is smaller than that.
The pump has 2 upper and 2 lower holes. The lower has 2 holes both NPT 1" and the upper had 1 npt 1" and this plug.

I want to run my steam vent in where this plug his so I need to go to 1/4 NPT. I guess I could just tap this plug for 1/4 NPT??

Well after searching for hours and finally posting, I just came across a thread that says it is 11/16. I can't seem to find any fitting for that size so I guess I will just tap it.

I'm not using that nipple. I have a 1" not to 16an and I don't think there is room on mine.

I just got off the phone with Meziere.

They have that with a 3/8"npt hole in it. I was told part #wpmtemp38s.

The replacement plug I was told is part #wpmplugs.

My pump is black and I think these are for a black parts.

why do you want to put fittings in the pump??
are you trying to have heat with an electric pump?
