Tragic day at Gateway Dragstrip It was a tragic day for the NHRA on Sunday with the death of Top Fuel driver Darryl Russell. His right rear tire came apart at the finish line taking out the rear wing and causing the car to go out of control. I was depressed all day after watching a fellow dragracer lose his life doing what we all love to do dragrace. My prayers go out to his family and crew members.
