Default 30" slicks

I might sound like a noob here but it's because I am, I'm wanting to start racing stock emlininator class with my 2000 camero , been to several races and see that everyone with an f body is running a 30x9 slick. But when I measure my wheel wells there's no way at least to me hay they would fit. Several f body's I checked out seemed to have stock wheel wells without modifications, so does anyone on here know how to fit a 30" tall tire on an f body? Weather it be rear spring changes or rolling the fender wells. Any advice would be awesome

I ran 30x9 Hoosier slicks on my car years ago. I ran a 15x8 wheel, with 5.5 backspace. I trimmed the rear bumper cover just a tad at the bottom and hammered the very bottom of the front of the wheel well just a little. You wouldn't even notice if I didn't point it out. The car was also lowered quite a bit. Filled the wheel well nicely and tucked the top of the tire up in the well.

You will have to trim the fender a little bit to make the 30x9 slicks fit. You do not have to mini tub the car. If you are going to run NHRA stock eliminator you will have to re-roll the fenders to be legal.

I have been running 29.5 x 9 radial slicks mounted on a bs 15 x 10 7.5 back space wheel. All I did was adjust the lcas to center it.
