I love a good smoke show, but found all I was doing was hurting my times....at least with the tires I had back then (McCreary's)

I was dead hooking every time so never have considered it a factor. Though i guess anything is possible

4L60 2nd gear only burnouts here too. That's all I have ever done.

Linelock, Hammer down throttle, let spin until i start seeing smoke, burn it out 10ft or so. ALWAYS let off gas before tires catch.

You don't need to do ProMod burnouts. Just get some decent smoke and you're gtg. Otherwise just wasting rubber.
