Default 255/50 r16 how fast have you been

Looking to see if guys have tried to go fast on stock rims or if everyone just goes to 15s. I know they are fine for lower power stuff but wanted to see how far guys have pushed them. I tried to search and didn’t come up with much in the way of times I think I found a few 1.4x 60ft numbers but wanted to hear from others.

The 235 record is like a 4.50@160. So I bet you could do a 1.2 60’

MT radial has hit on same wheels 1.49 once and mostly low 1.5s at with a best of 10.79. Hoosier will go faster for you but worse on the street and wear out much faster. They are a lot lighter however

Not worried about street life I have en extra set of 16 inch wheels they can go on I do like the idea of lighter might be worth the extra money if they are a decent step up.
