Default Stall Converter / Trans brake / 2 step

Hello! New to car modification. quick question. I understand the difference between a stall converter, trans brake and 2 step (never used any of them) but curious to find out when setting up a car for street/track do you need 2 or all three of these?

Thanks in advance!

Really depends on the setup. Stall converter I'd say yes in most applications. They all help your car do what it already does just better.

If you've driven an automatic car, you have used a stall converter. A 2-step and trans brake are more of a hard core drag race setup, and since you're asking this question, just a higher stall speed stall converter is all that you would need.
