Default Fuel pressure loss upon release of transbrake

I'm looking at my logs from last night. Stock tank racetronix 255 1/4 tank fuel. I don't have a 2 step. So when staged I push button in floor it and release when green. I felt it bog a little last night. But honestly not first time. 3500 fti stall nitrous hits at same time. It goes down all the way to 0. Rest of run looks great. Not lean not maxing out injectors. Could 1/4 not be enough fuel and it sloshing. Or something else.

I have noticed with my car (F-Body) that if I run under 1/3 tank of fuel I will lose pressure on the launch. I’m also running a 255 pump. What’s funny is when I was running 1.60 60ft times this wasn’t an issue if I ran a 1/4 tank of fuel but as soon as it went 1.45 60’s the issues started with fuel pressure drop.

Also, what size shot are you running? If it’s big enough you may need a dedicated fuel system for your nitrous setup with the current pump your using.

Poltergeist I probably will need a standalone soon. But I'm not certain it is needed just yet. Rest of run injector duty cycle in good shape. AFR in good shape. Fuel Pressure in good shape. Or is the pressure loss on initial hit a sign of needing a stand alone

I was having the issue with both an N/A launch and nitrous. With the N/A launch, keeping more fuel in the tank fixed the issue. With a nitrous launch it was still an issue even with more fuel. The only thing that was different for me was that my fuel pressure would drop to about 40psi and it would deactivate the system cause I’m using a fuel pressure safety switch.

the one thing that seems odd to me is that you said your fuel pressure dropped to 0 but you never saw a lean condition.

Could it be the G-force is greater than the fuel pressure for that split second ?
