Finally in the 7's ( in the 1/8)

Well last night the weather was pretty good (75 degrees with about 45% humidity). I made two passes and both were 7.95 @ 87+ mph. My 60' was 1.77 and 1.78. Man was I happy!!!
I am running a 01 Ws6 A4 vert.

Nice to see some more fast convertibles out there. Do they yell at you for running faster than 14.0s without a roll bar or is it pretty leniant for 1/8th mile?

Re: Finally in the 7's ( in the 1/8)

I have never run at a 1/4 mile track. As far as the 1/8 mile track no one has ever said anything to me about a roll bar. The guys at this track are pretty cool. Hopefully one day I will get to a 1/4 track . I am sure I will have to make my first run a good one because I know I can break 14.0's. I really don't want to get a roll bar. I am not that serious about racing at a track. It is mostly just for kicks. What kind of 60' should I be getting out of the vig2800? I feel like my 60' is good. Is there more in that small of a converter or is that about maxed out?
Thanks, Larry
