new best, but is there more.
On sunday I ran a 12.50 @ 108.46 with a 1.76 60'
The tires spun just a bit but not too much. It was really hot out also.
I was wondering what others have run with similiar mods.
Thanks

Re: new best, but is there more.
Thanks.
Does anybody know of any way to stop this thing from spinning. I have LCA's, relocation brackets and 26x10.5x15 ET Streets, and the front swaybar removed, and an airbag with 20lbs in it. The best 60' was 1.71
TIA

Now I was wondering if someone could help me with my traction problem. I have LCA's, relocation brackets, ET Streets, RR air bag@20psi, and front swaybar removed. It still spins.
TIA

How's your burnout? Launch RPM on the converter?
For me (same converter/tire), I'll get the tires just slightly wet in the box, and pull forward to do my burnout. See smoke, count to ~7, let off breaks roll out till it sticks. Dry hop it once before staging, stage, and launch @ 2000-2200

I usually do a pretty good burnout. second gear 5500 rpm for about 5 seconds. I don't do a dry hop though. launch rpm around 1500, but i've tried all rpms and nothing seems to change.
What are your 60's like?
Thanks.

My 60's are pretty similar to yours. Best of 1.70, average 1.74-1.75...We ET pretty similar and have similar mods, but mine dead hooks..

Re: new best, but is there more.
These set have about ten passes on them and about 70 street miles. I tend to leave them on cause i don't live all that far from the track.
I didn't have the spinning problem until the evil st3500 went in. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Front and rear Hal shocks could improve your sixty foot time with front Hal drag springs. I ran 1.63 stock with the Hals. Best time in stock was 12.43. You can easily beat my best on a good sixty and good weather. Also, consider good weight up front for better weight transfer. Good luck.
