Stock internal M6-11.668@117.23
One tenth away from the record.
If the track didn't have over 300 cars,I would have had more than 2 runs.
First pass-
11.668@117.23(1.633)
soft launch (4800)
My first pass is always the worst,so I was very happy to see that number
'on a run that didn't feel so good.
Next run was 2 HOURS later-
11.90@117.5(1.90)
Came out at 5900 and blew the tires off.
Called it a night and went home.
DA was probably around +2000.I'll get an exact number tomorrow.
Raceweight was 3090
New additions since my 11.72 pass (3175 raceweight)
are k-member and A-arms,pin-on hood, 4.30 gears(spool) and 28x9 ET Drags.
Car has an 11.4x in it in negitive DA.
I'm comin' for ya RAGEman.

DA-was +2129
Thanks guys. When the DA drops 3000 feet,I think we're gonna see some good numbers.
My car isn't totally stripped.
Full dash, radio, doors haven't been touched, head liner is in.
But once you see the bare floor,it does shock people.
It will go back in after I beat the record and the cage goes in.
BadHabitBird-are you givin' up on me?
What happened to RAGEman?

Wow. You got me whooped, dude. I once thought I could keep up with you M6 guys, but doesn't look like it now. Oh well.
I'm kind of hoping for some 11.6's this fall, and perhaps a high 11.5 if I get a really good day, but I simply don't have the gumption to pull all of that stuff out of my car. I hope to get down to ~3250 lbs, but I can't do a lot of the things I wish I could to drop weight, due to NMRA F/S class rules (no tubular front pieces, for example - nor can I have real headers, aftermarket mass-air meters, aftermarket TB, and a few other minor things). And I just can't bring myself to pull the seats, carpet, etc. Personal preference.
You sir, are quite dedicated, and I'm sure you will hold the M6 bolt-on record in due time - congratulations.

Re: Stock internal M6-11.668@117.23
I havent given up YET I may just hold off of installing my heads and cam so I can give you a little more competition. It will be awhile before we get any good air down here in TX anyways.
Yes RAGEman has returned his car back to stock, he actually did it a few months ago. He is definatly out of the bolt on race now.

Bob-your car rocks.
Seats ,carpet, limited boltons and turning 11.80's in not so good air. That rocks!
I really want to break the record so I can start making some damn POWER!
Bob-you can more than 'keep up' with M6 guys.
I am just on extreme BONEHEAD chasing useless 'title'.
But hey-everyone needs a hobby.

Hard to believe my fully-loaded street car (no weight removal) is currently the quickest NA 6-speed F-body. I guess most of the "hardcore" big motor guys are TH350s by this level haha.
When the fall weather hits, I plan to gut the car for a couple weeks. Are 9s NA possible with the T56? My 10.6 run was in early summer.

500 at the wheels?
9's(?)...that's picking up over 6 tenths, that's a BIG swing at the 10 second level.
But I've learned to never say never.
