112 mph w/TR220 cam and TTS LTs seem low?
To me the mph seems to be alittle low. Still have cats on with stock gears, I don't know if that really matters. Any comments?

i usually trap 114-115 in an auto...but ive trapped 113 and 112 on hot days. even a 111 once. the cats are killing you on the topend which in turns brings your mph down though.

Car is M6. Also have ASP pulley. It does seem like it is falling off up top. Maybe a LS6 intake will help.

My best mph is only 111mph corrected with my mods and I have the ls6 intake.I think my low mph is due to slow shifting third and maybe excessive wheelspin in first and heavy car 3800 with me in it and 1/4 tank of gas.I also don't powershift..I assume you have raised your rev limiter past 6200 stock setting..
My mods..lid,holley filter,gms maf,ported tb,ls6 intake,b1 cam,tts longtubes and cats,asp.I also have maft,autotap ,scanmaster and hpp.and tazzo
vpc,no drag strip near me but the tazzo is supposed to be very close on mph unlike the gtech.

I only got 113 with TR224/561, MAC's with ORP and 3.73's in an A4.
I would say thats about right for a 220.

Seems low to me. I've trapped 110 - 111 with just a lid and exhaust in 45 degree weather. A cammed car with LTH should go quicker than that, especially a 6 speed car... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

With Hotcam and mods in sig, I'm hitting 115+ traps. Weather conditions can easily put you off by a couple mph though.

seems low to me too. I trap 110 with just a lid, slp ram air, and cutout on a M6. My buddy was trapping 112.5's with his M6 SS with only lid, pulley, SLP ram air and MAF, and cutouts.

You have to take into account the power in lower rpms.My best before Cam was 12.9 at 108 with 1.94 60'.After Cam was 12.6 at 112 with 1.93 60' in weather 30 degrees warmer.I installed 3.73 gears and dropped to 12.4's in 85 degree heat.Same 112mph.Every car is different,My buddy runs traps of 110,but can't break into the 12's.

I have found that there are so many factors that hurt the MPH on your slip...
On any given day, my mph can range from 106-115 with no changes... The way you launch, shift and weather are big factors.
