OK, went out to try the new TR224/114 at the track after installing it last Fri. Went a disappointing 12.81. I was giving it hell, and best 60 was 2.12. Track conditions were good, but it was really humid. I haven't had it tuned yet, but is this normal???? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Man, the humidity, no tuning, poor 60 foot are all working together against your ET's.

Get it tuned, get those Nittos to hook or lose em, and wait and see what cooler air will bring. You will be happy then.

How can I improve my 60 foot? I've tried slipping the clutch at 2300, dumping the clutch, and everything I can think of without spinning. Can someone give me a proven way to launch? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

but FYI i went 11.95@112 stock internal
went 11.90@114 yesterday with the 224cam

weather sucked and i beat my best stock run with only a 1.70 60ft compared to the 1.58 i cut stock motor/na <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

only got one pass because my belt broke ARGH!!

hang in there, its just the weather and 60 in your case

I wasn't expecting 11's, but 1 tenth, and 1 mph? I know that tuning will help, but I've already dynoed around 390rwhp. Is it just my gears (stock 3.42)?
