Default Some fun today...

Here's a pic of my car today taken by an EFA member's wife (Knightfire). No new best for me, but ran 7 11.0x in a row with full interior, through the muffler exhaust. It was humid, to say the least (it was drizzling rain).

As I was leaving, I decided to see what I could do in true street form. Even though I normally run Nittos on the street, today I had my orig slick Goodyear F1's, and I ran a 11.66 @ 118.x.

Renting the tracks out is the only way to go....

KILLER PIC DAVE!!!
What MPH did u run on most of the runs?
I cant seem to get more than 121 outta my car?

Did u by chance weigh your car?I know u are light yourself,And that new exhaust u put on is light too.

The DA was fair at best today
Probably somewhere around -50 to - 600.

U know I read your post over at EFA and I couldnt agree more with u.I was thinking of adding a 3200 to my car and running 17's/DR"s with a 100 shot.It would still run 10's and be VERY STREETABLE.Good luck with whatever u decide,God that pic is badass

Thats a sweet photo! Looks like you might need a right/rear airbag at 20 psi though, Mr Twist

Joel, scales weren't open. But I added some weight with the interior and I closed my exhaust (no cutouts anymore). I'll guess 3450. Don't know how to calculate DA exactly, but it was RAINING. Is that negative DA today?

Tony, I definately could benefit from an airbag. Don't know that I'll go there or not. We rented the track out, and they prepped it pretty well. We had lots of fun.

The landing was bouncy, as I had my front Hals set on 2 in this pic. I later firmed them up, which lessoned the air and made the landing better.

I'm currently running a TCS (one of our new sponsors) 4500 stall. Converter hits hard off the line. My 60's were consistently between 1.47 and 1.49 all day.

Great job today, the rain scared me away...

Mike, my landing was hard enough for me. I can't even imagine landing from your now famous wheelstand.

Maybe Cessna could fabricate a custom landing gear for your car.......

Humidity doesnt effect the DA too bad Dave..
Temp and a bad Baro does,If it was raining then the Baro wasnt too good....

FWIW at 3PM the DA was -753
Actually not too bad.

I know u dont run threw a cutout but your exhaust (4in race magnum and turndown) is equal to a cutout

U had some killer air under those fronts,Car looks BADASS!!!

DA was -625 at around 1030 am. Dave made most of his passes before noon and consistantly pulled both wheels off the ground. It was cool to watch. What was more awesome was his 1.8x 60' on F1's with an 11.6x pass.

He just feathered the gas off the line and then nailed it. I had a good day too check my post "Finally found out what the car can do"

the track rental was awesome dave! i had probably the best time ever racing!

i need someone to post my launch pic too. not as nice as yours, but i think its cool. they had the track hooking great! i was 3rd car down the track and yanked a 1.51 without messing with the shocks too much.

pain, the camera was a sony mavica digital. she got some great pics of everyone!

Man with my old digital camera the shutter speed was sooo sloow it was really hard to get launch pics. That one turned out great...

It fit perfect as my wallpaper
