Car doesnt run what it should???? I have a 98 Z with 82,000 miles on it and it doesnt perform like I think it should. With MACs with ORP, Whisper lid, 3.42's, Yank ST3800, and a TR224/561 cam I should be able to eek out a 11 second run. The best I can get is a 12.07 @ 112 with a 1.69 60'. Raceweight is 3550.
When I see you guys runnin 11,s with bolt ons only I gets kinda jealous. Do you guys honestly think a cutout will help in this?

What I am confused about is the 60' I should be able to pull a 1.60 if not a 1.5 with this setup but I am not.

BTW: this was in 57 degree weather with 73% humidity at Cecil county in Maryland.

Re: Car doesnt run what it should???? catback or cut-out will be worth 2mph on your setup. What it's worth in terms of E.T. is up to traction.
also, most bolt-on 11 sec. A4's have skinnies up front and are in the 34XX lb race-weight range.

Re: Car doesnt run what it should???? I am running the same exhaust setup as you are except I have a cutout. For me the cutout is worth .10 - .2 in the 1/4.
Get the cutout and get in the 11s!
My race weight is 3350.

Re: Car doesnt run what it should???? Alot of those times you see are cars with weight reduction. Throw on some skinnies and ET streets and you'll have 11's. The other suggestions here are good too.
