Nick that car is one of Pat the track owners cars. Its a Lt1 car with the late model frontend. It runs in ss/ja or ss/ka. It is actually the slowest car that he owns per index. It ran some 10.80's I believe last weekend. Its an Lt1 with ported heads,transbrake,and the regular ss tricks. Frank95z

Hmm,

I'd assume its an LS1 car with an LT1 engine. In 1998 only, a small run of LT1 Equipped 98s were built by the factory just for this, so that the S/E guys could use the LT1 engine another year. This small run of cars made it legal for 98 Z28s to be equipped with an LT1.

Also if its a S/E car, the heads aren't ported. They're "stock" so to speak. Not that that means much. But they aren't ported in the general sense we use. If this is some sort of IHRA thing that allows Ported heads then just tell me to shudup. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="gr_tounge.gif" />

Shudup <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Pat has 2 stockers and 1 super stocker. The car in the picture is a super stocker with ported heads,and transbrake. I believe it has to weigh 3470 with driver. His D/SA car has to weigh 3250 with driver and ran 10.60 Friday night with unported stocker heads. Frank95z

I didn't even look that closely at the exact class. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" /> I moreso pay attention to the E/SA and F/SA guys. <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />
