Who's got the fastest 2.73 car around?
 

I like the new ET list but would like to know what gears everyone is running.

I would like to be "Top 10" on some list :eyes: :lol:

Who else has got a fast car with 2.73's in the back?

Not many guys race with 2.73s.. ;) What kind of gas mileage do you get on the highway with that setup?

(j/k of course. I learned everything I know about LS1s from watching others here..)

My combined mileage is still 20+ average. ALWAYS driven to the track, the car has NEVER been on a trailer...

Heads, 224 cam, 4000 stall and all the other usual bells and whistles.
The car will run 11.40 at 119 if I can bag a 0' DA day this fall. You could do a 10 second all-motor 2.73 car if you can live without the A/C and CD changer (I can't) , and take the cam up/stall up/weight down/DA down a couple more clicks.

Umm 25+ highway and maybe 18 city. I usually get almost 300 a tank.

ive gone a best of 12.01@115 with my 2.73 car 1.76 60' that was on motor.
Havnt made any nitrous runs yet.
No suspension mods or anything.

i ran 11.551@115.7 with a 1.560 60' last year with 2.73's

Can I ask you in the hell you cut a 1.56 60'???? NICE! Oh and what gears you running now. Strange, 9", etc...

mods are in the sig minus the moser 9", LT headers, rollbar,fuel system upgrades and big driveshaft. Used 11.5x16 et streets with stock rims front and back. That was a 135 shot. Made the run at Norwalk. That place is a hookin MOFO. It was the same day Mike Brown set the stock bottom end record. 9.85. The 11.83 with nitto's in my sig was with the 2.73's. I wish i could have stayed with the stock rear and 2.73's My 9" is a power robbing fool. but seems bulletproof

dont have any 1/4 times , but got some 1/8 times on 26x11.50x16 et streets

11.70 (stock internal)1.52 60ft. 273's went 11.55 with 373's and a tune

times in sig, I'm staying n/a for good, I think on et streets I can pull a low 12.5 or better. I'm gonna keep the 273s until I cant take it anymore or the rear-end goes, which ever comes 1st.

so far i ran a 12.7@107 before my heads/cam in 50 degree weather and with basically just idle tuning done ran 12.7@112 with my heads/cam all other mods the same...once i get my a/f correct & get some decent air im hoping for low 12's @115ish so we'll see. my setup is so mismatched though...i was crossing the traps at 6800 when my cam peaks at 6300 in 2nd gear so it was pretty much fallin flat on its face towards the end of 2nd gear :( I should have some real gears in soon though.
