Who needs internal mods with those trap speeds. On a 2001 C5 Coupe six-speed with 29k miles. Intake, long-tube headers, exhaust, and 4.10 gears with Z06 wheels and street tires, I ripped a 12.29 at 117.3mph with a 1.93 60' tonight. Damn, I love my LS1 motor.
FYI, I've roadraced HARD, autocrossed, drag raced, street raced since I bought this car new over 2 years ago. How many problems has it given me? Hmmm, ONE. A faulty brake booster from that factory. THAT'S IT. (Knock on wood) I'm a happy camper if you can't notice.

Thanks, Hugger! I need to bolt some ET streets or DR's on her to see what sort of time I can get out of her. With the trap speeds I'm making I should solidly be in the 11's. Oh well, we'll see.

i love seeing people getting happy from the performance of the LS1. I hate seeing you M6 guys trap higher with similar ET's. Anyway, nice job. DR's are nice, lower 60' but dont compromise to much of the trap speed, ET-S' are better 60' but I lost 2-3mph from the rolling resistance. Good-luck.
