Do Nitto's grow at the end of the track?
 

Iam running 275/45 17 and that would be a 26.74inch tire. I run 30psi in them and run 1.84-1.89 60' (M6 off idle). That is with 4.10's....IF I ran some 4.30's, I would need about a 27in tire to stop from shifting to 5th......that is the core to this question. Can I eek through the traps without the revlimiter catching me. If I need, Iam not scared to bump the limiter to 7000rpm....it is at 6800rpm now.

Give me the knowledge.....I know someone has tried this or calculated it.
top speed in 4th with the 4.30's at 6800 would be 126...at 7000 it grows to 130mph running 275/45 17's

7,000rpm? :eek2: I hope you've upgraded your valvetrain.

I haven't done any calculations or any studies, but I know for sure that my Nitto 315's grow...at least on the dyno. Not sure how much.

yeah the valvetrain was upgraded when the cam was installed. what tire pressure are you running when you see them grow on the dyno?
