There a couple of guys going 10.7s and 8s with ET streets and skinnies, I have gone 10.86 on a 100% street setup. BFG drag radials, 93 octane gas

as of right now mark ramos(c-5 pig)has gopne 10.80@126 or 127 with a h/c stock bottom end, also brent(brenteb02)has gone 10.88@???.there is various other CARTEK x package cars also running really low 11s so be ready to hear some more CARTEK cars in the 10 come next season.
btw:they are all 6 speed c-5s and are all n/a,cant wait to see what comes out of the CARTEK camp next season <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Re: What is the fastest 6-Speed 346ci. car?
EVIL,
You know that Chucks car is being rebuilt as a 346 right? It went 10.1@134 on the little shot Should run 9.5's when all is said and done with a 346. Would be cool to see you make a run at that car though.
That motor should be done any day now. And Chucks ET was lower then the HPS formla and with only one power adder.
Anyways his car shouldnt even be in the mix anyways were looking for the fastest 346 six speed car, and his is a TH400 car.
Theres got to be some H/C nitroused 346 6 speeds out there running some mid to low 10's.

yea, i know chucks is a 346, but th400. i want to see low 10's at 3400ish lbs once everything is dialed in. and still be able to drive it anywhere with some sort of reliability, i am sure i will need a spare m6 or 2 laying around, but i guess thats the cost i have to pay.

Harlan-
Can you or anyone else tell me what forged components, heads, cam, intake and computer you are running? I looked on your web page but it didn't list everything thats on your car. Maybe I missed it. I think thats DAMN awesome for a 6 speed! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
700rwhp, 715rwtq! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" />
Makes me have faith for my M6.
<img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" /> Harlan
BTW- Have your shift light and love it! <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

It was running 108/109 in the 1/8th with ~6.4X ET's
Car is 3600 with me in it now. Full interior minus back seats. Still got the airbags and radio, no AC.
The details on the setup, as I've been pretty quiet on it till now. And busier than **** to get on the net.
motor:
Stock block, 10 over hone for the pistons (348 cu in)
Stock crank
JE pistons, inverted dome for ~8.75:1 CR with my heads
6.0L heads, ported by Modern Cylinder Head in Michigan
Comp Cam, 228/224 .537/.534 112 LSA 4° ground in, straight up
Stock rockers, Comp 918 springs
Crower 6.125" Billet rods
GM Main and cam bearings, Clevite Rod bearings
Total Seal Plasma Moly rings, 1/16 1/16 3/16
Stock main caps, with studs
Head studs and GM 6.0L MLS gaskets
LS6 manifold, stock TB
Fuel system:
96 lb/hr injectors using my own Lo-Z driver box and the stock PCM
Aeromotive Pro-Stock pump and regulator(silver ones)
Aeromotive 5.0L mustang fuel rails, custom brackets
Sumped 98 steel fuel tank, dual -8 pickups to -12 pump inlet
-10 feed and return to front
dual -8 feed and return to the rails
Drivetrain and susp:
Stock T56
Bastard Clutch: RAM 402 plate and RAM flyhweel w/ Mcleod Rev-Lok II iron disc
Mcleod Master, GM slave
3" Chromoly DS
DTS 12 bolt w/ 3.73 gears
Hal's front and rear, 3 in the back 6 in the front
Hal springs up front, stock rear
Right rear airbag 18 psi
BMR extreme sway bar
Hoosier 28x10x15 Drags (true 10" tire <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> )
Induction:
Stage 1 Incon turbos (GT2535's) basically a t25 exhaust and T04B compressor
Incon cast manifolds
Incon silcone ducting
Custom FMIC, dual 2 1/2" inlets, single 4" out
Pro-M Univer MAF 3.5" ID, cal'd to max at 1200 g/s at 12 kHz
Pro-M voltage to frequecy converter for MAF
The dyno curves aren't super pretty, as we're still chasing an upper RPM miss. The smoothed curves drop way off before the power peak, but the actual trace data peaks around 700 RWHP and 715 RWTQ. That's on straight 110, 15 psig, with 25° at peak torque and 32° at peak power. TR6 plugs at .028, stock coils, custom MSD wires for the relocated coil packs.
Idle quality is actually really good w/ the big injectors and the cam. Hard to tell with the lope though <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
Tuning is done at Detroit Speedworks, Greg and Phil have been great through the whole build up. Have definatley gone out of their way to get things right w/ the car. Especially w/ the R&R on the first motor. They know their **** <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
Have to mention Stenod Racing as well. The pit crew has been there every step of the way <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> Especially on the long haul to the shootout, and the all nighter rebuild 2 weeks ago to get the car up and running again.
Season ain't over yet, Norwalk has 2 more TnT nights in november. So watch out for a 9 second pass soon <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> (harlan knocks on wood)
<img border="0" alt="[Firebird]" title="" src="graemlins/formula.gif" />

Re: What is the fastest 6-Speed 346ci. car?
Thanks Harlan! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I tried searching the forum last week but I couldn't find your specs.
Cool video's! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
Did you o-ring your block? No problems with head lifting with 15lbs? I realize you're running lower CR. I'd like to build my engine similar to yours except using an iron block.
