Default 99 Z28 A4 3.23 Comp 224/.581 1/4 numbers on stock heads

I am very curious to see what is expected out of my A4 3.23 Z28. Anyway, it is in the shop right now getting a Comp 224/.581 on a 114 lobe with Custom Tuning, Mac Mid length Headers w/ ORYP, with a 3000 Vigilante Converter. My following Mods are: 3 inch Super Turbo Dynomax Cat, MTI Power Induction Lid, Homemade Custom Ram Air, TPS Mod, Descreened MAF, NGK TR55's, and a K&N. What should I expect to run when I go to Houston Raceway Park in Baytown. What tires should I use, BFG Drag Radials or E/T Street's??????

Go with ET streets for sure. With your current mods (no cam, converter, or headers) you should run around 13.0x@106.x with a modest 2.0 60'.
Post your results. I'm curious to see what you're going to run with your new mods. I really can't give you a good estimate, sorry.

If you can hook up... First few runs Low 12s easy. After that at least 11.7s with a 1.6x 60'. Quicker with better 60s.
Just a guess.

i went 11.6s with 224 on a 112 and 563 lift. i had raised the compression though. so 11.7 sounds about right.

just depends on your cars weight and traction

I say anywhere from 12.1-4's without weight reduction and a good 60

11.7-9's with alotta weight reduction

also i think BFG's will hold you fine since you only have 3.23's and 3000stall

ive been 11.7@114.7(bad weather also) with a crappy 1.65 60 on nittos with a 224 .563 114 cam but i have a vig3600 stall. I still have loads more left in the car since i went 11.9@112 with a 1.58 60 on nittos with stock internals/NA
