Hoping for deep 10's I know many of you don't visit the nitrous forum, so here's some links that detail my current project: www.cofba.org/users/reckless/dp_fuel.html www.cofba.org/users/reckless/dp.html Will stay with 150 shot for now on stock bottom end (with ARP rod bolts). Other mods are TEA Stage 2 heads and FMS F3 cam. Big challenge will be learning how to race with a 6-speed again |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's That is one nasty looking set up,Good Luck with your driving classes, lol. |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's Hey Todd, will this make you the fastest person on LS1.com? Sounds fun! -Tony |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's I know I am the fastest moderator over there, for what that is worth Todd |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's Looks awesome! You planning on running at norwalk at all this year? It might be a good if race if spray a 200-225 shot |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's Pretty sure I'll be at Norwalk on May 9th. We have the track reserved for our club from 10-4. Very nice track. I may spray over 150 at the N vs. S shootout if it'll win me some cash |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's Todd, that setup looks BAD ASS!!!!! I wish I didn't have to see stuff like that, as it makes me want to put N2O on my car! |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's Thanks George....I say you should go for it |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's I thought they came with 4 sol's. one per rail seems a little small? also, how difficult would have been to route the hard lines with more of a 90' angle and fit the rails more over the intake? and isnt the output of the n2o noid on the physical bottom of the noid? [ February 04, 2003, 12:02 PM: Message edited by: Ryan ] |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's I think I see what you mean. Have you seen Tom K's setup? SO sweet. here... [ February 04, 2003, 03:50 PM: Message edited by: Ryan ] |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's The 80000efi kit comes with only two sol's. The 90000 kit comes with 4 sol's. I thought about fitting the rails inside of the fuel rails, and it can prolly be dome without too much trouble. Shoot, I got so much tubing left over, I may try that later The most difficult part of tube construction was the fact that the rails are perpendicular to the fuel rails, but the nozzles are at a slight angle. So a simple bend was not possible. It was a PITA for sure. I actually thought about drilling and mounting the nozzles farther up in the runners to make things easy, but decided the system might hit too hard that way. Todd |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's Ryan...you are correct about the noid output. I will have to change it. The side port is for a purge outlet. Todd [ February 04, 2003, 12:16 PM: Message edited by: Reckless ] |
Re: Hoping for deep 10's That's the first time I've seen that! That looks very nice. It should hit a lot harder with the nozzles that far up in the runners I dont' think there is any good way to do the setup for jet changes though Although his does look easier than mine to change jets.
