New Bogart RT series, gauging interest
Bogart and I are gauging interests at this time in a new concept P1 series rim that can be applied to the LS1 and LT1 cars. I have had a few requests in the past asking for rims with the "rivet" look.
Well now, there is a new design, it would appear slightly different near the lugs location as depicted in the pictures located at
http://www.bogartracingwheels.com/rt-5-lug-rear.gif
and
http://www.bogartracingwheels.com/rt-5-lug.gif
This is due to the fact that it is not possible to give the same type of custom dishing available with the other P1 styles that you've seen on other F-bodies. Essentially, they have P2 components built into the P1 styles. Strength-wise and weight-wise, they have the P1 characteristics. Due to the complexity of the design and material, they are in the same price range as a P2 rim (which are slightly higher then the P1 series).
What does everyone think? Please give your comments.
I do have a few customer cars on my site if anyone wants to see other rims.

I really like those. I'll be in the market soon for a pair and if those are out those will be the ones I buy. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[worship]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_hail.gif" />

Those are nice, I wish I would of held out on my welds and got those instead, but I'm happy, but I have 2 ruined finishes on the frony skinnies because of the FUC*ING SALT <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[shoot]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_guns.gif" />

There really is no comparison to stock shelved rims.

Keep in mind currently, they are not spec'd out for LT1's and LS1's. I am only guaging interests at this time for them for the F-bodies. I've discussed with the Bogart family I felt we need a P1 series rim with the 'riveted" look. This is what has evolved thus far. It just has not been spec'd for the F-bodies yet.
When I refer to the spec's, It's not only the B/S that is important, as our cars go to larger calipers/rotors, it's tougher to work around the fact that 15's are hard to fit. There are other aspecs of caliper overhang etc that need to be addressed. Since these are unable to use the same type of dished or spooned out center area as the other P1 series, there are other way's that we would have to work around the calipers.

My rear calipers are already ground to fit Draglites. I also am already using 5/16 spacers, so will these fit my car?
I'd really like a set of those, they are <img border="0" alt="[pimp]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_pimp.gif" />

Rears are fine, you could use the spacers you have as frisbees <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
It's the fronts that are custom dished with our cars. This is the area that we need to address. Since this rim has a different center design verses the other P1 series, this is something that we need to work with. We are considering a custom grind for them.

Depending on the application, LT1's tuck further then LS1's. LS1's will tuck in similar to the welds. Its just that no additional spacers are needed. Using seperate spacers not physically attached to the rims are not advisable as it changes the stress points on studs. Tech can also call you especially depended on your trap speeds.
