As you know, LS1Tech is sponsoring or involved in three shooutouts this year, all of which have been given their own forums...

Please support these races. Thinking about spectating... Go for it! I ended up being a spectator at the Thunder Shootout and I had maybe a better time than some of the racers, because I was able to drink all the time. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I picked up a copy of MM&FF today and I buy it once in a while... I have some friends and acquaintances who race the various classes... Some of these same guys tell me if we ever get organized they would love to campaign an F-Body since that's their first love... Between Fun Ford, WFC6, and NMRA, they have about twenty races this year... Sure we have bashed on Mustangs for the better part of five years but look at some of the new cars and packages coming out of Ford... And Ford is a sponsor for some of these racing series...

We need to get there too...

Help us round out the fields at the races year.

Help us pack the stands.

If we have t-shirts buy one.

I'm in the process of redoing my 98 Formula more or less as a Renegade car... I hope that at some point we might have more critical mass out there...

To me, I go back to the GMHTP 2000 shootout at Bristol Dragway... I'd say about 40-50 of us became friends because of that shootout... That number has swelled to a couple hundred folks who actively are trying to make some of the shootouts.

I know the North vs South Shootout is already at a very good amount of pre-payed folks... The BG event will surely have more folks than the TR shootout. And I think the TR shootout will have DOUBLE the car count of last year. I know more than a few of us found out that we could do the drive and made a ton of new friends. I was also impressed with the veteran racers like Tom the Roofer who were not running and flew down to check out the race, I know he and Bev had a fabulous time...

Ill be at the North Vs South shootout this year and I would have made the Spring Break shootout if my motor was done. You guys are definately doing your part in organizing and sponsoring these events so the least we can do is show up and race!!!!!!! <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

It's funny how you get a mental picture and imagine how people will look. Well, I,ve been accused of having NO imagination and apparantly they are right lol because I was wrong with everyone, except for JOE KIZZIRE that is, he really is a bitter grump face lol <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" /> Just kidding Joe.

I'll be making the trip for the North vs South Shootout. Nothing like a road trip. The Thunder Southern Shootout is a given for me , LOL.

Im gonna try to make the North/South shootout as long as work goes to plan. But the members are the ones that make these events happen over and over again. The more that come out, the more everyone can do to make things bigger and better year after year.

I will be attending both the Shootout on April 6th and the Thunder Shootout in November. I would love to be able to attend the N.vs.S shootout but it is hard to afford to go to everything when you are a single income family wiht a 2 year old <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> But I am looking forward to this year of racing. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
