Aluminum flywheels don't normally do well in drag racing applications.

they suck for hard launches, i havn't noticed a difference with streets.

Yeah...these guys are right...an aluminum flywheel is good for drag purposes. The software and lighter metal cannot withstand the forces of the launches like a good steel flywheel. - Pat

no its not that, it is the less reciprocating weight, it mkes it easier to bog and harder to wheelie. My fidanza has a steele fristion surface so it grabs like a stock flywheel.
