We're cooking with gas now!
 

Jelly was on a mission tonight, building 3 motors, barking orders like a shop foreman. Here is the progress we made on mine tonight:

Heads are on!

The valve springs are PSI CT1242D, big mombos! Jelly is spraying the cometic gaskets with copper adhesive. Piston to Valve is in good shape and the valvetrain geometry worked out great with the longer valve stems. Count down to ignition! I will keep you all posted.

So, did you end up replacing the head that blew out at the end of last year? I also see the ARE valve covers, weren't those the Katech ones before that? Looks good, I can't wait to see it run.

I ended up replacing both heads. Wade hooked me up with some new valve covers. Those Katech covers were a pain!
