Myself and a few other local friends have had great luck with the 10" JW "J-stator" converter...
It's rated as a 4500rpm stall, but obviously that will vary depending on your combination.
IMHO, it's the best $450 converter you can buy.

What TH-350 converter should i go with?
Im looking for a good N/A 3500 TH-350 converter that has a radical STR ratio, the one i have been running will not lock up it just slips all the way down the track losing in E.T and MPH.
What does every body think the best converter i should go with i.e Yank, TCI, JW etc..
I started out with a JW 10" 2400 converter and it ran 7.80 @ 90mph w/ 1.74 60ft and sold it so i can go bigger stall.
Got a 8" from my father in law had it redone by a local converter shop it stalled 4800 made 2 passes 8.0 and 8.01 @ 83mph w/ 1.9 60ft
Sent it back to change the stall to 3500 it ran 7.95 @ 84 w/ 1.8 60ft
My car should be running 7.60's maybe 50's w/ mid 1.6 60ft's at 90 or 91 mph
So now im going to take this converter out and junk it because its a POS, and i need to make the decision on what converter to go with. I would like some thing with a 3500 to 4000 stall but that has a good STR
CAN SOMEONE HELP!! Its getting old taking the tranny out for the 5th time
