Percy's Polycarbonate Windows http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...71&prmenbr=361 Any one try this Windows ? Is it worth the money ? What is the difference in Weight ? Thanks Adnan |
Percy's website claims the full kit saves about 60lbs on a camaro. |
Is it worth the money ? Any one have some pics for that Windows ? |
I think it probably is worth the money for a 60lb weight savings. As soon as I come up with the cash I will be ordering their kit. I don't really think anybody on here as ordered a kit. |
Any idea what would come with their "set". ???? windshield, door windows and rear hatch??? $1000 is a bit much but their Lexan is very reasonable. David |
I'm not using that particular brand, but have been using a brand called Shields. I have mine hardcoated and tinted. The tint is inside the material. I've had mine on my daily driver for about 5 years now. I've only got the rear windshield. Absolutely no one knows that I have it. You do get what you pay for. They will make you anything you can come up with. They are highly respected by alot of big racing organizations. I am using the SCCA rear windscreen. I did have to trim it, which is real easy. http://www.racingshields.com/ http://www.racingshields.com/pc%20vs%20glass.htm |
