Tire selection for 3.73's & N2O I plan on going with a 150 shot on my car, which I figure should be good for high 10.20's or low 10.30's at 127ish. I am trying to figure out what size tire will put me through the traps at about 6,400 rpm with my 3.73's. On motor, with my 26" ET Streets, I am trapping right at 6k. The hard part is - My car is a street car, so DOT only, no slicks - I don't like changing tires all of the time. Anyone have a combination like this? I was thinking maybe 27" Hoosier QTP's - think they would cut it, or do I need a 28" tire? Any input (except "get slicks") would be appreciated. |
i would say 28, nothing smaller...if you want to keep it dot legal, look into the MT dr in the 275/60/15...that is close to 28in... or 28 in hoosier qtp...they will put you right where you want it |
