It says your car has to be NHRA legal, does it have to be certified or just have all the legal saftey equipement. I `ve got an uncle and cousins in Memphis that I never get to see. I could visit family and go racing all in one trip.

and running the only beat up 3 year old hoosier QTP's i had.
also i had 7 valve seals move up the guides, it was sucking oil in a large way!
all of that aside, i normally hit it a fair bit harder, but.....honestly i didn't want to take a chance with a large hit on pump gas! last year was the first time i have sprayed ith pump gas....i have always put in the good stuff! my motor is too much to risk with a large shot and crappy fuel, hell the fuel at PGD was only 92 octane! from year to year i learn a ton more about how to do this better over time. I would love to have the opportunity to dial it up a bit on pump gas, and with a real ******* nitrous cam for BIG hits, vs. the camshaft Wade put in my motor at ARE. that is another story!
my best last year on the same shot and same shitty tires with an equally crappy 60' was 10.14 @ 136 mph. that was at milan in august.

I'll give it a shot..
We were also invited to the World Street Race to be held during the NSCA season opener at No Problem Raceway, it should be a fun year

I think it would be. Hardcore or the Ohio guys could probably still run low 9's on 93 with some good tuning right? Well...hopefully anyway. Last year there were 2 or 3 additional FAST cars, but they either did not finish or ran inconsistently. Remember you need 3 runs!

Well John Cunningham was going like 9.20's on HP in his Nova, and I got to check out this ride. He had nitrous he could use too. I think he spun on one of his runs and it hurt his average.

Cunningham's car is awesome...or was awesome. Still, to support those heads NA, his compression was probably up there...which is probably why he didn't spray. Honestly, what do you think a '7.99-on-race-gas' car would run on 93 octane if the tune was spot on?

Me... I know I'll be bringing a knife to a gun fight if I get picked somehow....
