MT Street DR's

Anyone have an opinion on whether these like a good long burnout, or a quick spin off?

I had personal bests with these Friday night, but couldn't figure if my best runs were from the quick spin or the deep fry. I got conflicting results. These things don't last for shit, so I'm ok with doing a short burnout if it helps me hook.

Chime in if you have an opinion pls.....

What sizes do these come in? I will need some with the additional power from FMS.

they should require the same burnout as an et street. i would hit them till i see smoke.

as for sizes, they come in a bunch of 15" sizes, from 26-30" also come in stock 16" wheel size and i believe are coming out with the 17" ws6/ss wheel size (275/40/17).

What PSI do you guys reccomend with these? I was running 15psi cold on the 255/16s.

I was running 18 psi the other night in them (15") and hooking well. I was prepared to drop a couple psi but didn't need to.

Thanks, good info.

I was going light on my MT's (19-20psi) to save my stock driveshaft. When my chromemoly shaft gets dropped in, I will try around 16 psi since Moroso doesn't hook well.

I read the write up on the MT DRs and it basically recommends running around 15-18psi and 25* warmer than track.
From my experience, tire warm-up should be to the point of barely getting the rubber to bead around the edge. If it is a defined bead, too long of a burnout.

I'm jealous.

At 22 psi, I would do nothing but spin at this track :eyes:
