Default Any beefy torque arms that mount to the chassis that can clear 3" true duals?

I don't think the BMR Xtreme does from what I hear, but are there any more options?

Alston or MAC chassis mount..

It mounts to the tunnel, the inside part.. I have one and John does as well.. We both clear duals fine.

I asked the same questions over and over. The Alston was the easiest to fit/clear, but I really dont like the mounting so it will be TA purchse then reroute the exhaust to clear around it. It wont take much for a shop to bend the pipes down slightly and will only give up a little ground clearance. Thats my plans.

Looks like the Alston is the way to go! Who sells this Alston TA, and what price should I expect to pay?

Chris Alston Chassis Works
http://www.alstonracing.com

They make a good piece, but I did see the front mount on one snap off @ Thunder Shootout 2 years ago. We had to take it to some guy down the road to get repaired.

YOu can get the Alston TA through FLP. I emailed both Alston and FLP, Alston said, sorry we dont have any ...... and FLP said yep can get one done in as little as 2 weeks. Price cant be beat. Sounded like Alston really didnt want to take the time to take requests. FLP Customer service was on track with it though. Good luck.
I didnt like the drilling issues and stuff, but it is still an option for me.

it doesn't say anything about being able to clear true duals, and everyone I've talked to said BMR's relocation kit won't work.

You are correct, there is no way in the world it will fit. I ended up going with the trans mount BMR TR, which is probably not beefy enough for you but it works for now at least for me. I am have a lot of trouble finding a DS loop to fit around my duals, might just buy the lakewood and modify it.

Don't see how it wouldn't (don't have true duals on my car) it puts the torque arm in the stock location next to the transmission...maybe I'm missing something?

Build your exhaust around your suspension. Not your suspension around your exhaust!

Reread what I qouted, the BMR torque arm that relocates it off the tail shaft will mostlikely not work with duals.

Bmr now makes a transmission crossmember that relocates the original transmission
mounted torque arm from the tailshaft of the transmission to the new crossmember.
That is what he was talking about. If you had a random tech torque arm you can relocate it off the transmission with this piece for example. This should work for true
duals I would think.Yank also makes a similar product.

I'm using BMR's new TA relocation/ Trans. member. As said above, it moves the TA off the tail housing onto a plate on the Trans. member. Has multiple adjustments. Clears my LT/X-pipe/TD setup fine.
