Question for the track guru's??

Didn't feel like posting this in the internal section. Curious if any of you are running tight p/v clearence? Anyone running under .090 on the exhaust side? or has anyone tried it? I'm right in that grey area and would like to hear anyone who has run tight p/v and if you have what was the outcome? Did you have problems or did it work out for you?

Wanted to step it up a notch for the pump gas event in a couple of weeks and well this stick I put in ate up all my clearence :bang: I'm hoping an extra 23 degrees of exhaust will wake the bottle up a little :jest:

Did you get the pushrod length figured out yet? I think .080 is alright for the exh pvc-esp. with an auto.

i did a heads and cam install where it was a pretty big cam and a milled head. i told the guy i didn't think it would work but i checked the clearence anyways. it was right at .065 - .060. the guy said that shaner ported the heads for him so he called him and he said the minimum was .050 so he told me to put it in. i think that is too close for comfort but thats what he wanted.
