Mini Tub Question
I'm doing this now as well. If you are handy with a welder and have the right tools it's not real bad as long as you know what you are doing (not saying that I do). Cost is maybe 100 bucks like BTL FED said......I could see it being well over a grand as it does take a while to make it look right.
I fiberglassed my tubs on the inside and used seam sealer on the outside to FOR SURE seal them as mine will be a streetcar.
The cost of a $100 is a misleading price. All the tools required and the know how is what will cost ya. My Dad and I did mine..it was very time consuming but turned out pretty good.

I tend to like show quality stuff(NRC and KTS are just like me) and it takes time. You just dont take a fire wrench and chop. You have to cut on the dotted line and then make a piece of sheetmetal fit somewhere it wasnt designed to fit.

anyone can cut a car but than it has to look good when done ,so time is money, 
,like everything else in this life most times you get what you pay for, 12-1500 is not bad for the amount of time,that goes into one of these the drivers side is a bit##
