Lightweight Fans
I'm looking into a single lightweight fan. I've read in other threads that most people go with the 16" Pull. No one has said what CFM is needed. I see a 16" pull at 1300 cfm--will that do the trick? Also, how do you wire them? Could I just wire it to the FAN1 switch and then set the on/off temp for the FAN1 only? Thanks for your help

The fans are wired in series so if you just hook it up to one plug it wont work, fan one is both fans in series (1/2 speed) and fan two is both fans in parallel. You would have to use fan 2, or high speed, for it to work by itself on one plug. I just wired mine per the ATI single fan instructions so it works on fan one or two, see pic.
The more CFM the better, any 16" puller will work but the more air the better. I bought a supposed 3300cfm zirgo from ebay, I dont think its really 3300 cfm but it does the job.
