Default joint different between lt1 cars and ls1 cars for steering rack?

I have a manual rack, that came off of an lt1 car, I am putting it onto my ls1 car. Is the steering knuckle any different between the two?

The u joint on the rack is the same. The column is where the difference is. I will sell you a LS1 shaft that will go right in. Give me a call 281-290-8899.

You'll need the LT1 connecting shaft that goes between the steering column and the rack itself.

There is a 90 degree difference between LT1 and LS1 steering setups.

Well, thats just the angle difference between the output shafts of the rack itself and the steering column.

If you use an LS1 linkage on an LT1 rack, your wheel will be out 90 degrees.

The steering wheel is in the clocking of the joints AND the alignment. Also the LT1 column and the LS1 column are different in location thru the firewall.
