Default NEW F-Body "Drag Only" alternator mounting kits

We have just released a new alternator mounting kit designed for those of you not running any accessory drives. This has always been an issue with no easy fix other than the "short belt" mod which still requires the use of a tensioner and water pump pulley.
This kit leaves the alternator in the OE position but uses a manually adjusted, much shorter belt to "clean up" the front of the engine. The kit requires the use of an electric water pump and no accessories. You can use the OE damper pulley or any smaller diameter SFI approved damper by changing belt sizes.
We are releasing these kits at an introductory price of $99.95 until July 15th at which time they will become available to our distributors and default to the Retail price of $129.95.

To view images of this kit installed, go HERE.

If you have any questions or wish to place an order, please direct them to tech-help@bmrfabrication.com or call 813-986-9302.

Nice, that makes things alot easier and cleaner. Looks like I'll be dumping my stock water pump soon.

Thanks... I wonder what sort of gains at the track (if any) by going with an electric water pump and bypassing the power steering pump...

Any guesses?
