Can anyone confirm smokeum99ta's reply. If this is so, someone out there should know. I do not recall using anything off my old shocks, which where aftermarket,(Cheap *** stuff from Advanced Auto) when I did this install.

Your last picture shows the spacer im talking about. It looks like its made on there but it's not. Use some penetrating oil or whatever to take some of the corrosion away. Then you'll see what I'm talking about. I had to use a torch to heat it up on my friends to get it off.

Also your first picture is the perch that holds the factory spring.You don't need that anymore because your using qa1 springs and the shocks come with two jam nuts that the qa1 spring rests on.

MadMan: I was curious if those rubbermounts would be shot. Just by looking at them, they look alright, but I will end replacing I guess. By "upper shock assembly" U mean the rubber bushings correct? Also, the bottoms should be fine, right? And the upper ones are my problem?
