Gearing question for racing...

Ok, on my 3.23's, I currently run the traps at 5300rpm in D running all motor at 11.79 @ 112mph. Once 3rd hits, I pick up slowly. My shifts are at 6900 and car pulls great until the big 3rd, then it gradually picks up. Running MT DR 275x50x15 (basically the 26x15). Should I go 3.73 or 4.10? I dont plan on keeping the rear or tire size this way for long, but until I swap to 9" and bigger tires what do you think?

TSP 231/237 112* cam, PP 5.3L heads, Level 2 Cmotor Trans, Fuddle 3800 Stall...

TIA

id try shifting sooner and see how that canges your times first. if this is striclty a race car then put as much gear in as your motor can handle, street car, i would say probably a 3.73

Mix street and strip. Basically race it almost every w/e. I tried the lower rpms and when I started to raise it, she ran quicker. Only getting about 19mph in the top half, NA that is. Going to hit the nitrous soon, so might end up staying put.

When I ran the 275/50/15 ET Street Radial with the 4L60E in my car I ran 4.11's in the 9" ..When running the same combo and going to a 26/10/15 ET Drag I had to go to a 4.30 because the ET Drag is considerably taller then the 275/50/15..I think your going to need at least a 4.11 to help the car trap better..

Right now I'm running 4.70's with a 28" tire and fixing to put 4.86's in it with a Turbo 400 setup in the car..
