Battery relocation wiring
So, what are pro/cons electrically speaking for the following diagrams ?
I am wondering if there is any difference in where the components are tied together. Maybe I need 3 seperate wires (style c), or maybe just tie them all on the starter lug (style b)?I have 2ga for starter to batt and 4ga for the alt and main pwr. All will have eylets correctly crimped on ends.
I also found this one in a search. Has the alternator bypassing the switch. I guess the switch would still turn off all elec components this way per NHRA rles. Maybe need a fuse there though ? https://ls1tech.com/forums/attachmen...chmentid=32608
Thoughts ?
Thanks, J

All of the diagram pics you posted will not work because they will not shut the engine down when you hit the switch because the voltage from the alt. backfeeds the system. The link you posted will work.

Thanks Tom.
Basic oversight on my part.....
So back to the other guy's attachment. Would it matter if I ran from the switch to the starter first (2ga), then a 4 ga line from the starter post to the main feed for car ?
