Default tire and gear choice for drag racing???

i have a m6 4.11's h&c car w/150shot. 434hp motor(stang dyno)565hp on nos. i have 4.11's w/26x11.5x15 and when the nos hits i can't controll the car at all. i had 3.73's and when i added 4.11's i gained .2 in the 1/4mi. will the 28'' tire make my gears like 3.73's again and will i loose the .2 in the 1/4 on the motor i gained from the 4.11's? should i go with 4.30 gears and a 28'' tire for better 60 foots? do i need to mod the rear fenders for the 28'' tires? thanks, mike c.

The 28 will cut your gear back a little, but you won't lose the .2, you'll gain better traction. i have 28's on mine, and did not have to cut or roll the fenders. they bolted right up.

because some people have stock ride height, and others don't. you can adjust your suspension, i.e. panhard rod & lca to accomodate. I trimmed the bumper and beat the fenders a little, not b/c they were hitting, but just in case they did. for piece of mind i guess. i know people with T/A's have a little more trouble with them fitting compared to camaros.
