Default Best(inexpensive) rim/tire combo to hook with G2 springs?

I know.. I know.. I shouldnt have G2 super springs on my car if I plan on going to the track but I will probably only go once this year (in three weeks). Whats a good inexpensive way to hook at the track with a car lowered 1.5 inches and non-drag springs? What fits?

I am willing to grind down the calipers to fit 15's if that size rim is my best option.

15's? 16's?

Drag Radials? Slicks?

I just want to make sure it fits and I will not rub!

THanks

how big of an M/T drag radial could I put on a 16X8 and not have to worry about rubbing with my car since it is dropped about 1.5 inches?

Your telling me this combo WILL work on a 1.5" lowered car without rubbing? I just dont want to spend the money and then they rub!

Why would you go with a 10" rim on a cam only car? My car cuts 1.50's with a 7.5" rim at 3400lbs race weight with 27x10.5 Hoosier DOT tire...

What wheel specs would work for the 7.5" rims? Will they work on a lowered car without tire rubbing issues?

15x7.5", 5" BS, 4&3/4" GM pattern... this is easiet rim to fit as it requires no caliper grinding and tucks under the car! No need to crazy with a 10" rim... here's how they look on my car! Depending how low your car is, you will need to figure out what tire height to run... 26" for sure will fit... maybe 27" (what I have)... for sure not 28"!

Would a 275/50/15 MT Et street radial work on a 7.5" rim?

Thanks VMAX!

I had a 275/60/15 MT ET Street Radial before going with the Hoosier QTP... so yes, it will fit! I just did not like how they worked...
