Well since im a total 6 speed/ls1 newbie ( I prefer the LT1 for an all out drag car) I followed the collective advice I had gotten from all you LS1 and 6 Speed Gurus and WoW!!!

I only had an opertunity to run 1/8th mile but I picked up 2mph and slashed .462 off my times 1/8th mile!!!

Only took a set of 245Nittos DRs, and Free mods to get me there too here are the before and after results

AFTER (Ported maf ends from my LT1, FRA!, Removed muffler,NT555R Drags,
and NOT dumping the clutch, but slipping it as fast as possible)

60' 1.97 !!! Dead hook, NO BOG!

I also later got a 89.27MPH pass

THANKS EVERYONE!!! Ill be running it at HRP for instant Green Tommorrow, Im lookin at AT LEAST 12.5s now!!! but when I do the math it comes out 12.35!! THANKS GUYS! maybe with an underdrive, and some super winter air (it gets to -1800 DA in january here 2,200 in summer)
ill be looking at 11s with less than $2,000 invested!
possibly a 150 shot to motivate a 10 second pass even

glad you utilized our tips, you will just do better from here, but beware of the weak 10 bolt rear and stock clutch
