28" tire too much?

I got a set 275/60/15 nitto55r's so i decided to go ahead and mount them on my 15x10's till i get my m/t's. the car is full bolt on, hotcam, 3:73's and a 4000 stall, i normally run a 26 but since these were free i figured id try them. will these tires hurt the et/mph of the car? thanks

i think the et will be hurt...you dont have enough gear converter power to turn them

On Motor, usually a 26 inch is great. If you are goign to spray of the line, a 28 is much better.

only one way to find out. go try em and compare the 60 foots

Well if you have been cutting 1.8's you will do better. :)

Ideally a 28 is a bit tall, but if you are not hooking very well, a 28" dr will help you. I'd think you go low to mid 1.5's.

for 3.73 gears... i would say they're too tall. if they're free... i'd just sell them and make 100% profit!

i got them mounted up and on the car so i guess i'll try them, if they dont help then i'll change to my stockers which also have nittos on and see if i cant improve since i have skinnies now. thanks for the advice.
