I run my factory front seats with my 6pt :)

I did. It was real comfy.

It has to go for the new setup though.

Racing seats are not only lighter, but they are also safer.

i've been running stock leather seats with the 5 point and 8 point rollbar for a couple seasons now.

i'm thinking of going race seats now with the et i am aiming for, i'd be more comfortable from a safety perspective, not to mention the weight savings of course.

My car is my only Daily Driver...so getting racing seats isn't gonna happen any time soon...I was just making sure it was do-able!

Thanks guys!

There are lots of us running stock seats with ROLLBARS, not sure on the rollCAGES though. I have been using the stock leathers w. Wolfe 6pt RollBAR and its quite comfy. I would swap to a race seat in a minute if I could find a Kirkey with the bolt in bracket. Once the rear crossbar went in, there is no need to adjust the seat anymore! And this is my daily driver, even with an A3!

Firebird seats work great with the harness. The Camaro seats work, but are much better if you have a flap sewn on top to keep the belts from sliding.

I didn't like the way my 5 point worked with the stock seats. Firebird/TA seats with the head rests would have probably worked well but the shoulder belts with the stock Camaro seats always tended to want to slip off.
