Drag Racing Alignment
Drag Racing Alignment Need some advice from the chassis guys out there.
Car is a dedicated drag only car. Skinnies up front.
IRS in the rear.
So how should I have the shop align the front and rear of the car to help with the launch and to make it not to darty.
Neutral straight ahead on the front end? A little neg camber on the rear to help with the squat? I have no idea I am just guessing.

When I had my Nova set-up for more of a drag style alignment, we did the alignment with the front end 3 inches up versus at rest with me in the car. I believe a little extra caster is dialed in to make the car track straight while the front end is up. Seems to work well for me.

0 camber and as much caster as you can get. BOTH sides need to be set the same. Toe is critical. Always make sure it never toes out thru out front end travel.

Yep, BLOWNGS has it. Same specs I had mine set to...although I opted to settle for 4.6* of caster, 0* chamber, and .03* toe-in each side throughout travel. It handles even better than before, go figure since I had it all out of whack.
